Trump’s luxury neighbor on West End Avenue

200 West End Avenue has it all too

I remember growing up on the Upper West side and going to school at PS 199 grade school. It looks very much today like it did back then, over 40 years ago. However, there is one very major thing that looks different.  The new luxury condominium building next door.  When I grew up there was only a 2 story building with a stationary store,  a resturant and a grocery store in it  ( I think it was an A & P) .  Now however you have this sleek glass clad luxury condominium towering into the heavens with a 24 hour doorman, concierge, landscaped roof garden, and about 173 gorgeous luxury condomnium apartments.

Open city views from floor to ceiling windows

Well, there is certainly plenty of light coming in thru those huge picture windows. And because there is only a short PS 199 school building to the immediate East of 200 West End Avenue, there is plenty of light and open veiws for most if not all of the apartments.

The building was finished with construction in 2008 and the Clarett Group, The buildings developers, started selling right away.  In fact, many of the apartments were actually sold from floor plans a couple of years before, which was the practice in those days.

Being in such close proximity to the whole Riverside Boulevard condominium row hasn’t hurt 200 West End Avenue at all.  In fact,  I wouldn’t be surprised if the close proximity didnt help the overall values thruought the area.  Right down the street you have The Trump Heritage, Trump Place, The Avery condominium, and close by is The Ansonia, the Coronado and The Level Club-all great condominiums.

The original 72nd Street Subway station

The location of 200 West End Avenue is really close to so much. You have the great local transportation at the 72nd Street subway station. There is the 72nd street cross town bus right near by.  And you are of course close to Lincoln Center, Zabars, Citerella and now, you are also close to The New Century 21 discount clothing store.  Grocery shopping at the Food Emporium is very easy, and both The Gracious Home store and the Pottery Barn store are close too.

Every thing is at your fingertips when you live at 200 West End Avenue. So my question is, when can I show it to you?
