Beautiful Bromley has been around
Back in 1986 when The Bromley was born, the Upper West Side was a very different place. Many of the shops you see now didn’t exist, and certainly many of the condominium buildings we have on the Upper West Side weren’t even thoughts in the developers minds yet. The Bromley was howerver a tremendous gamble at the time considering the sheer size of the building and all of the ameneties that it comes with. There is a luxury doorman and concierge, a basketball court, childrens playroom, full size health club with a pool and a landscaped roof deck. With 23 floors and 307 units, The Bromley is a very big condominium.
Prime Upper West Side location
Face it, 83rd Street and Broadway is a pretty great spot. The Bromley is sitting right between both Riverside Park and Central Park. It has it’s own Loews movie theater in the building, and Barnes and Noble is right across the Street about a block away. On 79th street, you have both Sym’s and Filene’s Basement and Zabars is also only a block or two away. There is plenty of transportation within a block or two and The Museum of Natural History is only 2-3 blocks away on Central Park West and 80th Street.
Newer additions to the condominium community
Some of the newer condominiums in the area include The Park Belevedere on Columbus and 79th Street, The Ansonia on West 73rd Street and The Laureate on Broadway and 76th Street. There is also The Level Club, The Admaston, and The Coronado on West 70th Street.
